The Prime Minister of Egypt visited the new capital CBD project of China Enterprises for the third time in 2019

On the morning of June 20th, Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbry, accompanied by Egyptian Housing Minister Hassan and Deputy Minister of Housing Abbas, visited the scene of the CBD project of Egypt's new capital contracted by CSCEC. At the briefing meeting held in the conference room of the CBD Tower Project, Prime Minister Mustafa heard the work report of CSCEC, the project owner and the supervisor, and expressed deep expectations for the project construction. This is the third time that Prime Minister Mustafa has visited the new capital CBD project for inspection and guidance this year.

Prime Minister Mustafa hopes that all parties to the CBD project will reach a consensus on business matters as soon as possible and work together to ensure that the project is completed according to the established plan and fulfill the commitments made to the Egyptian government and people. Prime Minister Mustafa and his party also inspected the glass curtain wall model to be used in the CBD sign tower project and listened to the introduction. Han Bing, Minister Counselor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, Deputy General Manager of the China the Eighth Bureau of CSCEC, Wang Shaofeng, Chairman of the CSCEC Egypt Branch, Chang Weicai, General Manager of CSCEC Egypt Branch, and Wang Zhi, Executive General Manager, attended the briefing and accompanied the meeting. The new capital project in Egypt is the number one key project currently being implemented by the Egyptian government, with a planned area of 700 square kilometers. Among them, the new administrative capital central business district project contracted by CSCEC is located in the core area of  the first phase of Egypt's new administrative capital, with a total area of about 505,000 square meters. In addition to the tallest building in Africa, it also includes 12 high-rise businesses. The office building, 5 high-rise apartment buildings and 2 high-end hotels, a total of 20 high-rise buildings and supporting municipal projects, with a total construction area of about 1.7 million square meters, contract value of 3 billion US dollars, contract period of 43 months.
